Five Great Lakes

The Great Lakes are a group of five huge freshwater lakes between the United States and Canada.

The five Great Lakes are (from west to east) Superior,  Michigan, Huron, Erie, and Ontario.
An easy way to remember those names  is to use the acronym HOMES, which stands for: Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, Superior.
H: Huron
O: Ontario
M: Michigan
E: Erie
S: Superior
